Day 22/ July 28 / Rest Day
In case you have never been to Historic Deadwood, SD, I can save you a trip. It’s an interesting place with gambling and the wild west theme with Buffalo Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane. It also has plenty of tourist shops. These pictures are from Sunday morning before the town woke up. Every hotel has slots in the lobby. And many of the shops have bars in the back.

We had a late afternoon thunderstorm. The white soapy looking stream is hail washing down the street.

I made my debut as Harry the bartender in the reenactment of Wild Bill’s death😁 in Deadwood.
At some point, I expect you’ll see motorcycles headed to Sturgis. And the reason for so many bars in South Dakota!
