Day 15 / July 21 / Rest Day Livingston, MT
We spent the day in Livingston, MT along the Yellowstone River.
We made sure to celebrate National Ice Cream Day!
Our ice cream came from Wilcoxson’s, which is famous here in Montana. It was served at an In and Out – Mark’s In and Out that has been in business since 1954. It’s only open in the summer and always has a line of people out front – so we figured it must be worth a lunch stop for a couple burgers, fries and root beer float.
So, not all of our hotels are as plush as the Sacajawea in Three Forks. Here in Livingston, we are at the 2-star Yellowstone River Inn and Suites. It certainly fits the need and has in-house laundry – so, that is a plus on a day of rest.
Yes, that is I-90 with the semi in the background. ; – )
