Day 31 / Aug 6 / Jackson, MN to Albert Lea, MN / 89.2 miles and 1,550 feet / 73 degrees with a stiff headwind (again!)
What a break to have much cooler temps today. People even broke out their light jackets for the morning ride.
It was a brutal and slow day of cycling with the stiff headwind. Even the strong riders struggled with the wind in their face.
The excitement today included watching a crop duster as we cycled down the road. ; – )

Lunch today was in Blue Earth, MN at Green Giant Statue Park. He is 55.5 feet high and wears a size 78 shoe. There was also a Green Giant museum in the park.

Sprout was in the park, as well.

Any temptation to ride home since you have gotten so much closer?😁
Ahhhh, the detailed stories you have yet to tell!
Ho ho ho ……
Getting to the wonderful Midwest!
Great accomplishment! Glad Green Giant and Sprout could be on your welcoming committee.
