Day 26 / Aug 1 / Kadoka, SD to Oacoma, SD / 115 miles and 3,344 feet / 96 degrees

Not much happened today. We rode the I-90 frontage road for 102 miles and then hopped on I-90 for about 11 miles before ending at the Arrowwood Resort along the Missouri River in Oacoma, SD.

The road was very similar all the way along with rollers and a bit more green than we have seen in the west. We saw every kind of grasshopper imaginable. I didn’t get any pictures so I can’t share the fun with you all. We also saw a couple dead snakes and a dead badger. Road kill.

Today was the day that we passed the half-way point. The Arrowwood Resort was a nice place to stay. Fortunately, we did not stay at this place.
